You love games conventions, right? If you do, you’ll probably be no stranger to EGX! which is the UK’s largest games show and actually happens right on our doorstep (well, down the road a little bit) at the NEC. What better opportunity to showcase the recently announced Nintendo Switch version of Mantis Burn Racing, I hear you cry!? So that’s precisely what we did from Thu to Sun, last week.
There are over 200 games on show at EGX and so we are always grateful and excited to see so many people visiting our stand in the indie-focused ‘Rezzed’ area, especially with so many other great games on show!
Equipped with our ‘Top-Gear’ style leaderboard and a mountain of highly sought after Mantis Burn Racing T-shirts, team VooFoo hosted a fiercely competitive and incredibly popular ‘Hot-Lap’ competition each day. Beat our lap time and win a T-shirt… easy, right? The sight of so many familiar faces returning to our stand time after time is the kind of competitive spirit that makes Mantis Burn Racing so addictive and so much fun! It’s all about those lap times and winning of course.
Shows like this are so important to us, not least because they give us a great opportunity to meet so many lovely, friendly people, like you, the people who buy our games and give us so much valuable and often positive feedback. We’re all super-excited about the Switch version of the game, and judging by the reaction from everyone at EGX, it seems you are too!
